Recently, I have been trying to convert a movie I took to an iPod playable format. It is already .mp4, but iTunes will not add it to my library. When I try to convert it in Handbrake, the audio is just a constant drone, but video is fine. It will open in Quicktime, but I get an error when I try to convert the file through Quicktime. Any ideas on what else I could use?

you could give MPEG Streamclip a shot but if QT isn't able to convert the file, i have a feeling the file's corrupt.
no, i did not. i am about to try it since i would rather use quicktime than vlc since the presentation is a lot nicer and quicktime kept prompting me to use Flip4Mac (which never worked for me
