So a few months ago I got my iPhone 4, and my bro got one as well, at the same time. A few days later Apple released iOS 4.1, i couldn't resist but update my iPhone 4 ASAP. After the update, my FaceTime option vanished. But my bro's iPhone still had the option.

I checked on the Settings > Phone. The slide on my iPhone was gone! But my brother still had that option. I tried checking Settings > General > Restrictions, the FaceTime option has also vanished. I had one more hope, that was to try switch SIM cards, probably it was the carrier problems. It still didn't work.. :(

It would be a great pleasure if one of you Apple geniuses help me out.
oh and p/s; I live in the middle east, and my bro's FaceTime still works

Try doing a restore and get your iPhone updated to 4.2

Do a "restore" and not just an update. You can reload your settings and data from your latest backup.

is it possible if i could downgrade it to a fresh non-jailbroken 4.0.1 ? even if i have to jailbreak it in order to go back?
