Is there anyway to check the iPhone battery stats that show you how many cycles the battery has been through and it's health status (ie: voltages and drop offs)? Curious as to how I would go about claiming warranty for the battery if there is no way to access this info.

I use a free program called CoconutBattery. It shows everything you need to know about battery health.

This is the iphone forum.. I don't believe the iphone has a smart enough battery to track this kind of stat. Such things take extra electronics and the battery itself is just a plain battery pack, unlike the macbook ones that have their own smart electronics.

Sorry - you're right - I just woke up and wasn't thinking.

Supposedly iPhone Battery Doctor does a nice job - but it's $.99

Also Battery Magic is supposed to be very good -and there is a free version.
