Sorry I don't understand you but if your saying that your iPad has a black screen and apple is far away then you should call apple support and tell them your circumstances and they will give you options. For me the offered to have my iPhone 3G shipped to them and they would replace it. Hope that helps?
Try holding the home button and the on/off switch on the top at the same time for about 20 seconds. This is the factory reset option and if your iPad is just frozen it will restart it. If this doesn't work, call Apple, cause you have a hardware problem...
