iPhone is 3G

It started a few days ago, when iTunes asked for an update. I said no.

When I synced my iPhone using a iPod charger (It looks just like an iPhone 3G charger, is there any difference?), something went wrong with my iPhone.

It showed the end of a sync cable, the side you plug into the computer, an arrow pointing upward, and the arrow points to an iTunes logo.

I can't do ANYTHING on my iPhone. It just shows that when it turns on.

I tried updating my iTunes and re-syncing, but now when I try to sync, when I plug in the sync cable (Note it's for iPod not iPhone) it says that it takes too much power from my computer and automatically comes back out, not letting me sync.

HEEEELP!!!!
