I know that VLC is newly out and has been experiencing some bugs, -- but I thought it was mostly contained to HD videos? I've been watching 30 minute long 480p vids and it will play smoothly for the first 18-20 minutes and then get extremely buggy during the last 10 minutes at almost the exact same point. The audio is usually stable but the image will start going crazy, - freezing, becoming out of sync etc.

My first thought was, does it have something to do with the iPads RAM since the length of the video is cached? Or am I way off?

By the way they are mp4.

Anyone else experiencing these problems? I thought this would be a perfect way to watch anime without having to convert hundreds of files. :(
