Black MacBook crash

Hey guys, my MacBook has recently crashed. When turned on, it just display a white screen with no error MSG. There is no bootable disk when searched & it will not boot from the DVD. I have just send in to get my super dive to be replace & I need help on backing up my data from the hardisk.

I'm quite confuse with the backing up part. Could anyone point me to the correct direction?

When backing up data, is everything covered?

Super Drive was changed

Got my super drive changed & yet still, its does not boot from dvd. And yes I did reset the PRAM.

Could someone really help me out?
