If you're only printing mono, pick yourself up a cheap mono laser printer (Canon have some good budget models). It'll be faster and cheaper to run.

ill look into that, but i still want some color as there are occasions where color will be needed.
 
In college I found it necessary to have access to a color printer. I'd go with color.
