Vegas alone?

Hi all..I want to go back to Vegas with my all of my friends, however, I have a lot of friends that cant go because they work for themselves. So my question is, has any one ever gone to Vegas alone? Is it fun? Is it easy to meet random people at the casinos? I really want to go with my friends but I hate hearing my friends say 'I can't go'

I've known people that have gone alone and had a blast. If you have an easy time meeting people you should not have a problem.

I plan on taking a trip alone out there. Im just waiting till my wallet is fat enough.
 
I've been to Vegas "alone" many times - I was there for work in two-week stints. And yes, you can have a blast.

It's a great place to meet people, especially if you're an outgoing and approachable person yourself. Bring lots of money and have a great time.
 
Nice! Maybe I'll head out there alone next time. I want to go during March, when spring break is going on for most of the schools, I don't think I'll have a problem meeting some young ladies hehe
 
If I had the time and the money, I would go alone no problem. I would rather go with friends but going alone won't be so bad.

On my way back from St. Louis for Thanksgiving, I went alone. My flight was delayed for quite some time so I decided to go to the bar at the airport. The guy I was sitting next to ended up being the same guy who was assigned the seat next to me on the plane. We had a few drinks and talked to some of the other people there. It was nice to meet some new people and NOT be at work.

Keep this in mind if you do come out for Spring Break (I live in Vegas)..

You'll find places to go off the tourist trap as well. Keep in mind Las Vegas is first a Tourist trap, and #2 a College town (UNLV plus 3 community colleges). Since a lot of clubs cater to the locals as well (3 that I had gone to give free admission to women and all locals with ID). So if you don't find anywhere to go at/near the casinos, all of the clubs in the University area are available.

Thanks for the help guys. After doing some further investigation, it looks like I'll be going the weekend of April 16th since that's the day Manny Pacquiao will fight again in Vegas (I'm a big boxing fan)
