briefly...

You don't have to upload your pics here once you've uploaded them to flickr. Just link to whatever sized flickr pic you want. For more in depth instructions, read Dale's tutorial.

In a nutshell: Go to Flickr. Click on the pic you want to link to. Click the "Share This" button. Click "Grab the HTML/BBCode." Click the BBCode button below. Select the size from the dropdown (no bigger than 1024px for here please.) Then, copy the code in the box. All you really need is the first url code, ending with [/url] as shown highlighted in my image attachment below (click to see full-sized.)

When that's copied, return to your Macrumors message composition window and paste that into your message...
Try it out by using the "Preview Post" button and see if your image displays. If it does, you should be good to go...

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain. Appreciated.

You are definitely not a nooby, these photos are great! Any great stories to tell?

Well, i call myself a noob because i only started taking pictures like 2 months ago when i got the Sony NEX 5. i think i still got a lot to learn and i wanted to get some advice. But i'm glad you like the pics.

Thank you

You're certainly welcome. Just keep in mind that with linked images, if you ever delete the image from Flickr it will no longer show up here either... only a placeholder box will appear. With attachments, they'll be here for good. Just something to consider.

Thx again. Are you a photographer? Would you mind C & C on my pictures?

Cheers
