can't upgrade nor downgrade to 3.1.3 on my iphone 3gs

new problem now,update to iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore. everything was installing fine till i got error 29 then i use recboot to kick recovery loop. after that the apple screen to appear on and off every couple seconds.

You need the shsh files saved to downgrade or upgrade to firmware version that apple isn't signing anymore.
That's why you're getting the error messages.
Was your iPhone ever jailbroken? You know, you can upgrade to 4.2.1 if you don't need the unlock.
downloading straight from itune will even show 29. thinking of taking it to apple and they might know the problem. ****** is that the phone doesn't have warranty.

damn i replace the battery with aftermarket,hope the hindu guy didn't throw it away. but still that **** doesn't work.
are these the right part number for original apple battery?
