Hi,

I started to have problems with random crashes of Mail and some other programs, ran Disc Repair (it found some problems and repaired them twice over a two week period).

Started getting a series of three beeps, silence, three beeps, etc. on restart.

Ran Apple Hardware Diagnostic and it found a problem. Error code was:

4MEM/4/40000000: 389151d8

I don't know what that means, but I have two 2gb memory sticks in this machine. Does the code indicate RAM failure?

I'd be grateful for any advice or information.
