Power adapter usable in the states?

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick one I suspect. I am off on a trip soon from UK to the US. Can I still use my MBP adapter in the US. It would appear I can, but am unable to find a definitive answer.

Yes, you can just use a plug converter. It's what I've been doing for more than a year now. You can find out if a device can be charged in the US simply by reading the information on the adapter/transformer. If it says it takes 110-240 volts, it will work. (110 volts is what is used in the US, 220-240 is what's used in Europe.)

This. Read the markings on the power adapter. It will support ergdegdeg's remark about it supporting 110-240v.
