When did the magic mouse start shipping with the iMac?

I am thinking of getting my gf's mother the magic mouse as a christmas gift. The only thing I know is that she got her iMac almost 1.5 years ago (I never been to my gf's parents place so couldn't see for myself). Did the iMac ship with the magic mouse 1.5 years ago? I don't even know when the magic mouse was released. Any help would be appreciated!

edit: a bit of googling suggests that it was released 20th of October 2009. Still no clue though which iMac started shipping with it.
 
There were two Macs released that day, the 21.5" iMac and the 27" iMac. And as that was less than 1.5 years ago, your girlfriend's mother obviously has a 20" or 24" iMac.

The 21.5" and the 27" iMacs were the first to ship with the Magic Mouse.

Or is there something else? I thought the two facts (release date of MaMo iMacs) and the link would be enough for you to deduce the fact I stated in the above line. Hmm, "confused" as they would emoticonise.

Both the 21.5" and 27" iMac, released in October, 2009, were the first models that shipped with the Magic Mouse.
