GC-WP10 Opinions? iFrame upgrade

Hello!
I've been shooting home video with a miniDV camera but editing is often slowed by the real time importing process.

I'm wondering if an iFrame capable camera like the GC-WP10 (water proof jvc model) is used by anybody here. I'm editing home video for viewing on a Hi-Def 55" wide screen tv.

Can anybody offer help and advice?? I'd love to have a portable unit like the JVC and heard that iFrame is better than the Flip cameras.
