Combining templates in Pages

I created a flyer using a Pages template. I needed a second page which I created with the same template and saved as a separate file. Now I don't know how to link them together into a single document as templates don't seem to allow adding pages.
Should be as easy as 'cut and paste' but it pastes p2 over p1. Any ideas?
