Hello
I have a early 2008 macbook pro 2.66 ghz 4gb of ram and 200gb hard drive has applecare til the end of summer 2011.
Recently I have been having issues with the system the super drive failed on me 2 times in a row with in a month period. The battery was just replaced after 4 month old replacement would not keep charge more than an hour. Looks like new one is doing this as well. And I noticed its being a lot slower than usual for some task. Just did a fresh install of leopard too.

also when they did my super drive i mentioned my screen when open was not as secure so they made it snug now when closed it sits uneven.
I went back and they said its a user problem.

1. sell it on ebay and show all documentation of repairs

2. if something else happens try to get a replacement from apple?
if so how do i go about doing so and I would hate to get a 13inc mbp as a replacement.

3. keep it and keep getting things fixed?

I run my own business from my laptop and when apple fixes it I get delayed/set back a great deal.

Hello Maryland from Maryland,
Have you called Apple directly and talked to customer relations? I understand how much of a pain it is to lose the very tool that allows you to earn a living and they do as well and at this point may very well replace the system provided it is still under warranty, which it is.

thank you for your reply

also
anyone know what this would sell for on ebay
almost perfect cosmetic shape.

what size screen is it? i am looking to buy a used mbp so i might be interested i need one for school. since my month old mbp was stolen last week
