iPhone 4 - Signal Loss / Glitch

I've had my iPhone 4 since launch day and today i just started noticing that it is losing it's full 3G signal randomly and putting the searching in place of the signal. It's also telling me that it cannot activate cellular data network. But usually within a couple seconds it's fine. It's a pain because messages come in at odd times, and takes a couple attempts to send a message. Also when the phone is locked, it'll light up and show the loss of signal and then shut back off. I've taken the case off, shut it off, reset network settings but still no fix. Is anyone else having this issue and should I schedule an appointment for tomorrow?
