VPN authentication/password promt for iPhone an App

Hi All,

My iPhone application uses a VPN connection(CISCO IPSec, iOS 4.2). The connection will be lost if the user is idle for some. When the connection is NOT present and the user wants to continue with the app, he/she must turn on the VPN by quitting the app. And again launch the app to continue.

Is there a way to provide/call VPN password prompt within the application?
