new imac big problem please help

can someone help me please, i just got my new and shiny imac and downloaded frostwire, but when i click to open it it gives me a warning but i click open anyways and nothing happens it wont open. can someone please help me and also how do i uninstall programs?

When you open an application the first time, this message is normal.
Maybe the application hides between other windows or has no open window yet.
Use CMD+TAB to cycle through open applications and if Frostwire is running, you will find it there.
You can also use the Dock to locate open applications, as they have a glowing dot under them.

thank you whast about as far as uninstalling programs that i downloaded. is there such thing. sorry im new to mac

You can also find many answers via a search engine of your choice, as many of your questions have been asked again and again.
There is also MRoogle (http://mroogle.*************/) to search MR Forums.
