Hey People

When I try to play videos nothing appears except a message saying Missing Plug In, no videos will play on any site.

A pop up window sometimes also appears on safari saying

Flash Player (Safari Internet Plugin) quit unexpectedly.

I installed chrome after I identified that videos didnt play in safari but videos still didn't play.

I also tried uninstalling and re-installing flash which did nothing!

i'm on a 2008 macbook model 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM

on OS X 10.6.5

Hope you can help! Will be extremely grateful....

I love it when people ask for help with Internet issues but don't give a link to the affected site. I get absolutely giddy when they don't give the model of their computer or the version of their OS. With useful information, I would be denied the opportunity to make wild @$$ guesses about your problem. Thank you for making people like me so happy.

That's put very nicely, I was about to write something similar, but ended up writing something angry and sarcastic and that once got me a justified warning, therefore I didn't post it. Thanks for having better words and wording.

To the OP: Anyway, I came upon this thread a while ago, maybe you can take away a thing or several:
