Bizarre issues syncing Outlook calendar and iPhone calendar

Hi all,

I am having some confusing issues regarding syncing my calendar between the two.

Two things are happening that I need to rectify: firstly, everything is appearing as an hour early on my iPhone (for example, an event that is listed as 9am on my Outlook calendar is appearing as 8am on my iPhone?!); and, secondly, despite me ticking the 'replace information on this iPhone' calendar box, I am still getting lots of old events knocking around on there. I would have thought that this would instigate a clean sweep?

Sorry, newbie here, so hopefully I am not asking silly questions; but would appreciate any help that anyone can offer.

Strange, have tried a few things, but still having both of these issues. Please can anyone offer any assistance, or anyone had similar issues?
