Loose Volume Buttons

So I've had my iPhone 4 for about 3 months now, and I've noticed the volume buttons are a bit loose. I don't remember them being like this when I got the phone. They work absolutely fine, but I can move them around in the casing fairly easily, and the metal on metal can get a bit annoying sometimes. It's not a big problem and, like I said, they still function properly. Is this normal?
