Hey all,

Running pwned jailbrake on a 3G, 4.2.1, 06.12.00.

Weird thing happens when the battery level goes below ~50%... the battery starts dying rapidly. Seems to drain normally for >%50, but its so rapid that I can watch the number fall. It still decreases, albiet slower, when plugged in.

My solution was to put it in airplane mode for the night (I don't wanna be called that time anyway), and this allowed the power to catch up.

This has only happened once (I'm only on hour 34 of my jailbrake), but I presume the same will happen tonight. Its not much of a problem because I very rarely have a night were I don't plug in my phone but it is curious. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before.

Trevor

Via what method did you activate the phone for your unlock? Hactivation, SAM or legit SIM? Hactivation is a known battery drainer.

Legit SIM... But see, it's not really an issue of battery drain as such... I'm just curious as to what would cause it to drain faster at the low end. BTW, its on WIFI all day, and all evening as well.
