Hello,

My parents finally bit the bullet today and bought a 17" MacBook Pro. I want to help them set it up, but I live 5,000 miles away.

I thought I saw a long time ago the ability to remote desktop another Mac was built into one of the newer versions of OSX. But, after googling for a bit it doesn't seem like this feature exists at all!

Is it possible?

iChat will work. Here is a detailed article on some ways you can do this.

or logmein.com. I use it to log into pcs and macs and even from my iphone. I use the free service.
