Whenever I start up or restart my MBP, it always has a "Recovered File" in the trash can.

Anyone know why and how to keep this from happening? Is this normal?

Open disc utility in Applications>Utilities.

Select your boot drive on the left on the screen. Should be the one at the top in most cases.

click on repair permissions on the bottom of the window. Then click on verify disc.
