Kindle books in color for iPad?

Just a quick question, was curious if the kindle books you purchase w/ the kindle app are black and white, or are they color (if the book has it)?

There is a few ebooks that I want to buy from the kindle store (when i get my iPad) but it would be a shame if they weren't in color.
