iPhone 3G plus Monster Cable headphones = improvement?

I have an iPhone 3g. I use it as my mp3 player with stock headphones, but lately have been considering upgrading my headphones to a higher quality set.

Does anyone have experience with Monster Cable products? Are they worth the premium price they charge?
 
I personally do not think they are worth the price, and most seem to agree with me. Both Denon and Sennheiser sell very good quality, affordable headphones that to my ears are at least as good quality as Monster ones, at much cheaper prices. Don't be conned by their marketing.
