Hi

Im new to the MacWorld and I have to say its great to be here.

I am looking to make my first Mac purchase. Ive been lurking on this site now for a few weeks. As far as I can see there is to be an update of the MBPs coming in the next few months.

Im either going to go for a standard MB or the MBA.

The MBA has been recently updated so going for that now wouldnt be a problem. However I havent been able to get much info on the possible updates of the standard MB.

What changes are likely to be made? Is it simply the move to the i3 core processors? Would there be an aesthetic changes? A possible removal of the superdrive?

thanks for your help!

In the recent past, MacBook has just been a 13" MBP in plastic enclosure. We don't know what Apple will do. Maybe (hopefully) 13"s will get i3 but nobody knows. On the other hand, MacBook may stay with C2D while MBPs get iX.
