Are we always going to need 4.2b3 shsh?

I just got a replacement iPhone 4 as my other one had some issues, and luckily it came out of the black box at the Apple Store with iOS 4.1. So i'm jailbroken as of now, but I don't have any of my shsh blobs like I did for my previous phone, the only one saved now is 4.2.1.


Am I screwed for 4.2 jailbreak when it's actually released or is it just this unfinished jailbreak that's gonna require it?

I hope you're right. From what I read when comex's jb is released those without shsh for 4.2 b3 should still be ok to jb but it's all speculation at this point still I believe.
 
comex has been on vk so not sure how much heworked on it the last few days. fact that it's a cydia package is interesting considering you jailbreak to get Cydia. we should know more about everything this week.
