I'm looking @ a PowerBook G4 on Craigslist..

Its a 1.67 G4

1.5 GB of Ram

100 GB HD

DL Super Drive

Guy wants $325.. If I can get it for like $250 is a decent buy?

It's a nice machine if in good condition. I had one as a stopgap about 18 months ago while I was waiting for a replacement 17" MBP to arrive from Apple and I was pleasantly surprised at how useable and useful it still was. $250 seems a fair price.

$250 is a good price for one. Especially if its the dual layer superdrive model with the high resolution screen. For a 15" or 17" even $300 isn't a bad price if its in good shape and the battery still works.

^This.

If it's DL SD version, it uses DDR2 memory and HiRes screen. In good/perfect shape, even $300 for 17" still would be a bargain in my country.

Agreed.

A reasonably powerful notebook with a 17" screen, let alone one as well built as a PowerBook, is worth every bit of what the seller is asking.

Offer $300 just for *****. But I doubt you'll take it home for $250.

:)

He agreed on $280. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. :D
