This morning when I booted up my MBP I was asked set up a new mail account which I did. However, all of my mailboxes and emails that are older than what is stored at the ISP are now gone. I back up regularly with Time Machine. How can I restore my old emails and mailboxes?

NOTE: Yesterday I deleted the com.apple.mail.plist in an attempt to remedy the application constantly going offline.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Restore email

After a good bit of poking around it turned out it was easier to import mailboxes and then selectively restore via TM for default mailboxes like Send, Trash.
