Hi all
I have just sold my old White MacBook on eBay, after upgrading to a MacBook pro.

I am going reinstall the system, I did it some years ago but what im not sure about is: When I did it last time, after it had completed, it said remove the disc from the DVD drive it went straight into the "Welcome setup Wizard"

Its at that point I really want to leave it, so the new owner can use the Wizard, so do I "just switch it off" on the button, and if so, will it just restart at that point when he starts it again so the Wizard will take him through set
up.
Thanks for any help
Chris

Well, when you sell the computer, you should include its OS installation disc. Then the new owner can reinstall again if so desired. I personally would not buy a used computer, but if I did, it would have an OS disc, or no sale.

Thanks reply, yes I am including the discs, and the reinstall went so easy, when it's switched back on it starts the Welcome Wizard
