Since Safari update, running hotter

Hello all,

Since I did the update on Safari the other day, I am running a full 10 deg C hotter than before.

Normally I was at about 44c, now I am at 55c without doing anything.

I don't use Safari at all, by the way....is it possible that without that app running that something has been changed?

I know for sure that no other apps have been updated.

I did an SMC reset and the problem seemed to go away. I was in the same room and yes, I was using flash on and off, but just sitting there with time to cool, it was 10 deg c hotter.

Weird, but gone.
