...there was a little icon next to the album icon where you could view all songs by the artist in the music player.

You know, if you're listening to a song and viewing the "now playing" screen, in the upper right hand corner there's that icon that takes you to a list of songs from the album you're listening to... there needs to be one for the artist itself. Crossing my fingers for the next version of iOS! :)
 
That would be cool. Sometimes, there are those dismal days, when the relationship is not going well and all you want to listen to is Luther Vandross, and the majority of times when all you want to do is fist pump to that certain pop artist.
