WOL using IPAD2

Hi all,

I'm thinking about changing my MB pro for a MacMini and an iPad in order to have high portability/computer power. My ideal system would allow me to wirelessly through the iPad WOL my mac mini from any place, and allow me to work at distance in my home computer, also it needs to be able to connect to my company computer through VPN. This last part the iPad can do it, as I can do it in the Iphone at the moment using IOS5. But I'm not sure about the WOL think in with the MacMini, specially without being in the same wireless network.

I use Sleepover on my iPad to do just that to my mini. Works over the Internet but you do need to make sure you have the appropriate ports open. A small bit of configuration may be necessary but it's easy enough.
