iCloud for Dummies

Hi
I have iPad and Mac Book I upgrade to IOS 5 on iPad and I have Leon on MB I set iCloud on Both, On the MB I create a new contact (the new contact must appear on the iPad) I can't make it done, what I must do after creating the contact in order to be sync with iCloud so will be synced to the iPad

I appreciate help on this matter
