Mac Update Problem

Everytime i click check for updates some weird thunderbolt update and macbook firmware update come up i install them and when i restart my computer the screen makes a weird long beeping noise and restarts about 5 times and then my update is still not installed. i don't understand whats going on. is there something wrong with my macbook?

please help thanks
