I want to use an iPhone tone on my Mac.

Well, as the title says really. I'd like to use the 'Electronic' message tone as my new message chime in Mail on my Mac.

Can I pull the sound off my iPhone? I've searched high and low on the internet hoping to find an .mp3 or wav or something, but to no avail.

If your iPhone is jailbroken you'll be able to find it with iPhone explorer or SSH'ing into the audio folders. If not, just plug you iPhone directly into your mac using a double ended 3.5mm cable and record the tone you're after :)
