How Do I Sync High Quality iTunes Match Music to iDevice?

Hi

I just signed up for iTunes Match and switched it on my iPhone and iPad. I deleted all of the matched songs in iTunes on my Mac and re-downloaded them to get the high quality tracks.

Now all of the original lower quality tracks are still on my iPhone and iPad. I tried going into iTunes to to un-sync the music so I could then re-sync the better quality tracks, but its says "iTunes Match is on: My iPad/iPhone can access music in iCloud. Songs can be downloaded and played via WiFi or a cellular network."

So how can I get my higher quality tracks onto my iDevices without completely re-downloading on that specific device?
