My iPhone 4S is an at&t 32gb white still on 5.0 with no battery issues or any other issues for that matter. I haven't had any issues and its been perfect since day one. Don't know if its considered a problem but look at what happens when I tap on the phone icon. This is a screen shot and the top left corner of the phone. I just reset my phone and it doesn't do this.

Try rebooting your iPhone.

Yeah I did that and its fixed. Just thought I would share this as I never seen this happen before or read about it happening to anyone else....THANX!

YES! Because it did I was nervous but at the same time I was kind of amused by it...lol. Weird though

I've seen this happen on some jailbroken devices with Retina screens. The device acts as if it doesn't have a Retina screen. The black part of the screen doesn't response to touch, only the tiny corner doesn.
