I have put a Hydraskin (Malaysian site similar to Gelaskin except the whole metal band is skinned) on my iPhone. On top of this, I have applied a screen protector.

There is a huge air bubble that is vignette-shaped due to the slight added bulk of the skin.

Any ideas on how to remove this? It won't budge even when smoothing it with a credit card. Do I blast it with a hairdryer to make it conform to the shape?

Alternatively, are there any affordable skins that are not stiff?

The best way of getting rid of it is to apply the skin over the protector, The way you have it applied is pretty much guaranteed to cause bubbles.

...or not layer a skin and screen protector that overlap. One some skins you'll notice the air bubble if applied over the screen protector.

I agree with web slinger, put your screen protector on first, then skin.
