My iPad 1 is stuck on the Apple logo and will not load into iOs

Shall I go to the Apple store to get it sorted out?

What do I need? Shall I bring my Applecare box?

If you have Apple care,save yourself a trip to the store and just phone the Apple care support.

I need to go into town anyway and I will take it to the store.

Yep, I do have Applecare. Will Apple replace my iPad 1 with an iPad 2 or is that wishful thinking?

Dfu

That happened to me once and I managed to fix it by putting it into Dfu mode and restoring it. Hope it helps

I got it fixed via the Apple store genuis. He was very helpful.

Do I *have* to sync my iPad to one of my laptops? I've no intention of putting any of my music on it since all that is on my iPod touch.
