Hi, I have the late 2008 15" MBP:
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 256 MB

I have Windows 7 32 bit on a 64 GB partition and when i try to play pretty demanding games, eg: fifa 12, call of duty etc...

The gameplay is a bit choppy, is there any way to fix this, I think 2 x 2GB is the max ram this macbook can take and I dont think you can change a graphic card in a laptop so I guess my options are limited...

Oh also, I think this version of macbook has 2 graphics cards, one for performance and one for battery saving-ness, how do i check which one windows is using

If it's a late 2008 unibody, it will take 8GB RAM
I'm sure windows is using the correct GPU.

It won't help you with gaming, the machine is just too old for that now :(

well even if it could get 8GB RAM i think win7 32bit only supports 4...

its been 3 years and this $2000+ laptop is incapable of running modern games:( i guess ill stick to the xbox

Correct. 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows can only support 4GB of RAM. In order for Windows to take advantage, of more than 4GB of RAM, you'd need to upgrade to the 64-bit version, which would be $89.95 from Supermediastore.com, or $99.99 from Amazon.com.

32-bit Windows 7 under Bootcamp has a bug that limits it to little more than 2GB of RAM installed. It is recommended that you install 64-bit even if you don't have more than 4GB of RAM.

And it should help with gaming a little bit.

As everyone say, Macs arent made for gaming purposes.
If you want to do hardcore gaming, get a console or a high end Windows PC.
