What is this message after booting?

I have used SuperDuper to backup my Macbook's hard drive. (10.6.8). Keep the backup on an external hard drive while running the MB. Today, after turning on the MB, this message (in Text Edit) appears. I have been experiencing slow downs and freezes of the MB.

Message:

That is most likely caused by a stray entry in your login items, though it could be defined in several other places. To check Login Items, go to System Preferences -> Accounts, select you, and then click the Login Items tab. If the tab isn't selectable, unlock the pane first.

Unlikely. It would be worthwhile, though, to check your Console logs after a freeze (after you reboot, if it never recovers, or after it recovers) to see what might be causing it.
