Hello,

We just bought a new MacBook Pro a few months ago, and upon deciding to upgrade to Lion, and visiting the Mac App Store, we are blocked from installing it due to it "already being installed" on my 10.6.8 system. I haven't bought Lion yet either, as it won't allow me to. I have attached a picture showing the issue of my "About this Mac" reporting running 10.6.8 and the App Store showing Lion as installed.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

[Pre-edit: We don't have Lion installed on any other computer, nor bought on the account.]

have you checked its not already in you applications folder?

Wow. What a simple oversight. Bought it on another account for my Hackintosh build and needed it put there. Thank you! The buy option has been restored and I have successfully purchased it. Thank you very much!
