I record most of my YouTube Videos with my iPhone 4s as the quality it creates is pretty impressive, and more then ample for YouTube. The main downside is the mic - although it's pretty good, it's a little quite since it doesn't point in the direction of the video.
I have a Blue Snowball mic on order, to be used for general podcasting and when recording video tutorials on my mac etc.
I understand one can use the camera connection kit to record audio on iPad. Rather then doing this can I use the same kit to connect the mic to my iPhone so that the audio is recorded from the mic while creating a video?
