My Brother video taped my sons wrestling match and burned it onto a DVD. He did not edit the footage and there are really good peices, there are also long shots of the ceiling and inside of the camera case.

He burned it onto a CD and deleted the fgootage figuring i would clean it up and edit it to my liking.

SO how do I get the fotage from the CD, to the IMac so I can edit in Imovie?

Thanks

So, is the video on a CD or a DVD? You talk about both. If it's on a DVD use Handbrake: http://handbrake.fr/

Use the Normal setting, and choose the MPEG-4/AAC Audio codec for editing in iMovie.

If it's on a CD then it's just a movie file. If so, what format is it? It may need converting for iMovie.

I apologize, it is on a DVD.

Thanks.
