EDIT -

Issue with final cut pro 7.

Scratch discs are set to my internal raid (spare 600GB)

I have 20 mins of pro ress to render - around 30-50GB

For some reason, the render files are being written to the Boot SSD drive - id imagine as a temp holding place maybe?

EDIT 2-

Seems to have sorted itself, I deleted the render files within FCP7, reset scratch discs and the render files seem to be heading in the right direction.

FCP7 randomly putting render files in a magical secret hidden file where nobody knows where.... ahhh video editing - something always goes wrong / makes u go 'HUHHHH wtf is going on?

Why don't you "upgrade" to Final Cut X?

...kidding.

FCP scratch methods are ridiculously archaic.
