New Dark Blue bubble in imessage

In the last 2 days I've noticed something new in iMessage...it seems that some messages are in a dark blue bubble instead of the regular blue one.. the dark stays for about 2 seconds and them dims back to normal blue.
Anyone else see this? no idea what it is if anything..

If everything is working fine I wouldn't worry about it too much.
 
i only notice that if i do a search for a Name of someone that i have messaged recently. the most recent message will be dark blue for a second or 2
